LIVE COVERAGE: Obama's Jobs Speech

President Barack Obama will give the most important speech of his presidency tonight to a Joint Session of Congress, challenging lawmakers to put aside months of partisan rancor and pass his jobs plan.

Weighed down by a stagnant unemployment rate, a sputtering economy, and criticism from both sides of the aisle, Obama will make the case for his $447 billion "American Jobs Act," saying we are a nation in "crisis" that needs its leaders to put aside their partisan differences.
